From 9–12 March, the SFUCHAS Institutional Review Board (SFUCHAS-IRB) had the honor of hosting an IRB accreditation assessment team from NIMR headquarters and representative from COSTECH. During the visit, the team conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the IRB’s operational procedures, governance structures, and compliance with national research ethics guidelines. In addition to the assessment, the team facilitated capacity-building sessions for both the IRB review committee members and the secretariat staff.
We are pleased with the positive outcome of the assessment, which will lead to the Full Accreditation of the SFUCHAS-IRB. An official announcement will be communicated in due course. Keep following the NIMR website.
